Drug and alcohol abuse and misuse is a serious problem and can occasionally extend into the workplace. Drug and alcohol abuse in the workplace has significant negative impacts. This series addresses the importance of a drug-free workplace. During this series, you will explore the impact of substance abuse, recognize the difference between acceptable use vs. abuse, discover indicators of substance abuse, examine a variety of types of drug testing, and review an employee’s role in ensuring a drug-free workplace. Supervisors will explore their role and responsibilities in supporting a drug-free workplace. This series contains three course modules with a corresponding assessment.
