The Maintenance Technician’s Training that was scheduled to be held on Thursday, March 22, 2018 at Multi-Housing Depot by ARI in Burlington, NJ is has been rescheduled to Thursday, March 29, 2018. Please contact the JAHMA Office ONLY if you are UNABLE to attend on the new date. Otherwise, we will plan to see you next Thursday, March 29th.
Cabinet & Countertop Training
Measuring basics will be covered to include: best practices, measurement summary, required measurements, cabinet terminology and common abbreviations. Also highlighted will be: out of square walls, sink cut outs, pipe chases and pitfalls to watch for. The course will also cover material selection as well as current trends in the industry. Attendees will come away from the training with the ability to select the appropriate material for the job, knowledge to measure the job correctly and insight into the direction the industry is moving.
Water Conservation Management
Course will cover options available that will reduce water waste. Thousands of dollars are spent annually on water. Know the costs associated with failing equipment. Changes in: toilets, faucets and showerheads can scale back that expense for minimal cost to the property owner. Attendees will come away from the training with a good understanding of products that are available with a significant ROI that will enhance their properties and save hundreds if not thousands of dollars annually.
This workshop meets the following Education Requirement for both NAHMT or NAHMS: Six (6) hours of the required eight (8) hours of training in at least four different maintenance-specific topics
