The JAHMA Foundation and Thomasville Furniture Galleries recognize that residents and their families can find themselves IN TIME OF NEED.While the degree of this need and the causes—such as fire, flood, burglary and poverty—can vary, they can be a compelling hardship that may stretch the patience, determination, and emotional bonds of individuals and families.
To this end, the JAHMA Foundation, Thomasville Furniture Galleries and others, such as American Furniture Rental, have joined forces to donate furniture to residents of JAHMA-affiliated properties that are in genuine need of furniture for their home as a result of compelling and unavoidable circumstances. Since May 2006, The IN TIME OF NEED Furniture program has completed 23 furniture installations with a combined retail value in excess of $400,000.
